After Columbus's arrest, all the fleets were sent back to Spain late 1500. I was unemployed for a while and began helping my mother with our farm so we could make it through. Around two years pass by and I hear news about Columbus being released and planning his fourth voyage. He convinced the Crown to fund his fourth voyage with goal of exploring Asia. He gathered a small fleet of four ships and nearly 140 men. We sailed Cadiz, Spain in 1502 and arrived Hispaniola as there was an upcoming storm, however, Columbus was denied access and we had to stay a place nearby till it passed. After a few days we sailed off to continue our exploration and we landed in a place Columbus called Islas de Pinos, which was off the coast of Honduras. As we began exploring this area we encountered more Indigenous people who trade it lots of goods. However, we came over something new that they called cocoa. This made Columbus believe that he was getting closer to Asia and continued exploring South. Sooner than later we arrived to Panama where Columbus continued his exploration and observed a large amount of gold ornaments among the Indigenous people, leading him to believe that he is going to discover wealth soon. As a result, Columbus established a temporary settlement at Rio Belen, a river in Panama, with the intention of mining for gold.

Columbus's men began demanding more gold which rose tensions and conflicts between us and the Indigenous people. This forced us to abandon the settlement and retreat back to our ships. As we began to sail away from Panama, Columbus aimed to reach safe ground, however, the ship was in bad condition and severely damaged by shipworms. The ship began deteriorating was hard to keep afloat so Columbus decided to sail towards Jamaica. Soon we arrived at what Columbus named Santa Gloria. We began making relationships with the local people who traded us food in exchange for our European goods.

As more time passed, the people were less willing to help us which led Columbus to fool them. He told them that the moon is going to be dark on a certain night as God was displeased with them, however, it was just a lunar eclipse. As months passed, division started occurring within our crew, some people tried to create their own group and aimed to reach Hispaniola, but none of them succeeded.

After a year of being stranded, a rescue crew finally arrived and we headed back to Spain. I began losing faith in Columbus, all his words were lies as we never ended up discovering real wealth and he ran to trouble in almost every voyage. Around two years after the fourth voyage with Columbus, I heard about his death by the locals and with that i began looking for new explorers that I could sail for to provide for my family.
